Shatrughan Sinha Announces Nalanda Literature Festival 2025, to be Held in Rajgir in December

Mumbai: Veteran actor, Member of Parliament, and cultural icon Shatrughan Sinha officially announced the Nalanda Literature Festival (NLF) 2025 in Mumbai. The festival is scheduled to take place from December 21 to 25, 2025, at the historic sites of Rajgir in Nalanda, Bihar.

The announcement was attended by prominent figures including Chairperson D. Alia, Trustee Dhanu Bihar, IMPPA President Abhay Sinha, Festival Director Ganga Kumar, and Curator Pankaj Dubey, who unveiled the festival’s vision and cultural objectives.

Speaking on the occasion, Shatrughan Sinha said, “This grand festival will mark a historic cultural renaissance, celebrating the confluence of India’s literary, linguistic, and artistic talents. It will not only showcase the richness of the past and the vibrancy of the present but also pave the way for a glorious future for Indian languages and culture.”

Chairperson D. Alia emphasized the festival’s historical significance, stating, “Nalanda is not just a place; it is an eternal symbol of India’s journey of knowledge. This festival will serve as a global platform where creativity, dialogue, and inspiration will reach generations to come.”
